Arbor Longboards Review

Arbor is a brand that makes snowboards, skateboards, and gears for them. Not many people know them, but they actually have pretty good boards that no one knows. There are many brands that not many people know but are actually good and need some attention. Everybody is always talking about Sector 9 and Loaded but Arbor is one you can’t miss. If you’re not going to get it at least look into the board and see how good or bad you think it is. The worse you could do is just hit the back button.

We’ll start with the specifications with each Arbor longboards. Most of them have a wheel size of 70mm and 78a street wheels which are ok but is recommended to upgrade. Upgrading a longboard would make the board become a custom longboard. Custom longboards are actually pretty useful because they are better than what the original longboard use to be. All the boards have your standard ABEC 5 bearings. Most of the boards have it and is good if you don’t care about speed. The best part about Arbor longboards are that they all have Gullwing Chargers Trucks. I personally use Gullwing Charger Trucks and they are really good, but not as good as Randal or Paris 180s.

If Arbor longboards aren’t the brand you really want, then Atom, Krown, or even Gold Coast are pretty good. I personally use the Atom brand and I use the Atom Pintail Longboard. Many people on Amazon have liked it and so did I. Like many people,  they customize their longboards so that it will perform better and look better. I did it for performance purposes and all the money I’ve spent really paid off. I spent about 80-100 dollars on upgrades and now I’m riding like a pro.

Truly, you can be a pro with any kind of board but upgrading will only make it feel better. For wheels I suggest you get Orangatangs, bearings to get Bones Bearings, trucks you don’t really need to change since Gullwing is fine, and bushings to Khiro Bushings. All these upgrades will make your board so much better. Trust me, even the pros upgrade their board and their board is fast and looks good.

I’ll admit though, the price is 170 dollars which is about the same price as what a Sector 9 board would be like, but at least they both work out well. If you don’t like Arbor longboards, you could always check out other brands too on Amazon. There are always boards that are actually good but needs some attention because no one knows about it. Brands like I said earlier such as Atom, Krown, and Gold Coast all have satisfying boards, especially for beginners.
