People are always asking, what longboards are the best longboards. Most people would say their own board but their are certain boards that are just better than everyone else. Each company has their “special” longboard but certain ones really stand out. Here I’ll name a few boards that are the best you’ll ever find and the price tag on it is really what it’s worth.
The first one I’ll introduce is the Loaded Tan Tien. The Loaded Tan Tien includes Orangatang wheels, Paris 180s trucks, and performance bearings. With that combination, you have absolutely one of the best boards you’ll ever find. The only con with this board is that it includes performance bearings, but all you have to do is change it to Bones Reds and then you have probably the best longboard ever. Only thing that will stop is the shape that it’s in. Overall though the shape is fine so obviously this board is one of the best.
The second one I’ll introduce is the Loaded Dervish. Like the Tan Tien, it includes Orangatang wheels, Paris 180s trucks, and performance bearings. The only difference with the Dervish and the Tan Tien would be the shape. The Tan Tien is more of a low riding board while the Dervish is a flat surface board. The price is the same so deciding on which board would be really easy. Just look at the surface and then you can decide.
The third board I’ll introduce is the Loaded Vanguard. Like the Tan Tien and the Dervish, the Vanguard includes Orangatang wheels, Paris 180s trucks, and performance bearings. Like the Loaded Dervish and the Loaded Tan Tien, the only difference would the be the shape of it, the Vanguard is shaped upward.
As you can tell, all 3 longboards I just mentioned were all made by the same brand Loaded. Loaded obviously makes one of the best longboards ever. Sector 9 has some quality boards but its nothing compared to what Loaded has. You could always customize your board but if you don’t want to customize it at all and want to leave it original, then buy boards made by Loaded.
If you really want to buy Sector 9 boards because its really popular, then just buy any of them because they’re pretty decent but its highly recommended you upgrade at least the wheels. Obviously the price of Sector 9 boards are a lot cheaper but they will not perform as well as Loaded longboards.
In the end it really depends on what kind of board you want. If you don’t mind spending more money then go with Loaded. Or if you want to have a cool and popular board then buy Sector 9 boards. They are both great boards but its totally up to you on what kind of board you want.
