Is It a Good Idea to Buy Krown Longboards?

Some people are looking for some cheap longboards to buy and the Krown Longboard is a perfect choice. Most people don’t want to spend a too much on their first board because some people start to not want to ride a longboard anymore. The Krown Longboard is perfect because it only costs 50 dollars, and if like longboarding then you probably would want to buy a better longboard like from Sector 9 or Loaded.

The Krown Longboard has Abec 5 bearings, standard heavy hardware trucks, 70mm black wheels (which are not bad), and the board is 8.75″ wide and 41.75″ long. To be honest this is a pretty good board for someone that just wants to start off with. Each part that is already included on the board are fine, but they will wear out much faster than other boards. If someone really wants to keep this board then I suggest them to upgrade their parts with different ones. Different parts such as Bones Bearings, Sector 9 Wheels, Randal; Paris; or Gullwing Trucks, and Khiro Bushings. Those are the parts I use for my longboard. If you think about it, buying this board and then upgrading is better than buying a better board and upgrade that which would cost you a lot more.

Another cheap brand that’s also good to start off with is Atom. I personally use the Atom Pintail Longboard and it was pretty good. My only complaint with the board were the wheels, but other than that it was an excellent board to start off with.

Like other longboards such as the Krown Longboards, I just bought the Atom Pintail Longboard to start off with because I didn’t want to spend too much. I turned out to really like longboarding and ended up upgrading the board with the parts I said earlier. Upgrading the board would make it called a custom longboard. Most people have a custom longboard, doesn’t matter how good the original board was people still end upgrading it anyways. So it’s a good idea to buy a cheap longboard and upgrading it, as it will save you quite a bit of money. I saved about 60-80 dollars so it was definitely a steal for me.

So in the end the Krown Longboard isn’t that bad of a board to buy if you’re going to upgrade it eventually. Even if you’re not going to upgrade your longboard it isn’t that bad of a board. If you’re willing to pay a little more than I suggest you get the Atom Pintail Longboard because that is also a cheap longboard and it rides pretty well. Or if you’re willing to spend an extra 200 dollars than get the Loaded Tan Tien. It all depends on how much money you’re willing to spend.
