Sector 9 Longboards

Sector 9 Longboards are probably the most popular longboards you’ll ever find because most people you see will probably have one. They are not only known for longboards but also skateboards too. Basically they are known for skating gears and there is a good example why. Here though, I’ll only talk about their longboard and how good it really is.

Like I said earlier, most people have Sector 9 boards and I can see why. Its design looks good, the shape is great, its got nice features, and it’s cool to ride it around your neighborhood. Although their boards are nothing like Loaded, it is still a good board for most people and also a good board for beginners too. If you don’t like the way the board is then you could upgrade it. Upgrading a longboard would make it become a custom longboard. After that happens your board would slowly become a really good board overall to ride on. Now I’ll talk about some boards that I suggest you buy to start off with.

The Sector 9 J-Bay Bamboo Complete is a good board to start off with because it looks nice and the parts on it aren’t that bad. The wheels are 70mm Nineball Wheels, Abec 5 bearings, and it has Gullwing Charger Trucks. I personally like this board because of the shape of it and like I said, the parts that it already has. The benefits with this board is that it turns fast and is very responsive. Also the material on the grip is actually Bamboo. So it comes with pretty good grip tape.

Most of the other Sector 9 boards are pretty much the same except for the shape of it. Each board will have something similar to Nineball Wheels, Abec 5 bearings, and Gullwing Charger Trucks. Like I said earlier though, if you want to make the board better then I suggest you customize it. For example, the wheels should be changed to Orangatang Wheels, have Bones Reds Bearings, and change the bushings to Khiro Bushings. The trucks are fine though, unless you want to spend another 40 dollars and get Randals or Paris 180s.

Although the Sector 9 boards aren’t as good as Loaded boards, you still get a pretty good deal if you customize it. If you think about, buying a 320 dollar Loaded board is the same thing as buying a Sector 9 board and customizing. Only difference would be that if you buy the Sector 9 board and customize, you save around 100 dollars. This is a great way to save money if you’re desperate.

Overall Sector 9 boards aren’t that bad of a board. Especially if you’re a beginner or just want to ride around. There are also some different brands that make longboards but Sector 9 is the best because it’s popular, it’s cool, and it’s a great board overall.
